Dallas ISD investigated formal grievances, interviews, and surveys that documented findings concerning race-based disparities in treatment and opportunities by the principal: African American teachers were favored while Hispanic and White staff were marginalized; and Hispanic students faced harsher discipline than African American peers. Teacher turnover surged, with White and Hispanic educators disproportionately leaving. Campus morale collapsed under her administration. This pattern of systemic bias demonstrates I was not alone in perceiving discrimination. The evidence exposed that her preferential treatment created a two-tiered system: African American teachers were rewarded with leadership roles, mentoring, and administrative support, while Hispanic and White teachers were systematically excluded from advancement opportunities, collaborative decision-making, and recognition. Such differential treatment directly undermines the District’s claim of neutrality and supports an inference differential treatment.
